Since my college days, Edgar Degas has been one of my favourite artists. I loved his compositions and also loved the fact that he was a very experimental artist who tried different mediums and techniques through out his life. So in a want to do something Degas-ish, I decided to do a painting of his brass statue of a ballerina. Painted on an old piece of press board and custom hand framed with old wood as well.
