Definition of Faces
There are so many expressions and character features within a face. This is what I wanted to explore through these paintings. It started by one sketch that I knew I could use as a base to enable me to paint multiple faces in a similar manor and style, yet allow them to have their own individual expression and character. These paintings are the result. The poster series was later awarded 2014 The Applied Arts award for best personal illustration series.

Later that year this series became a solo art show at The Pilot, in Toronto. Launch of the show was awesome, over 50% sold out that night.
